Last time we met

St Kilda (142) defeated Hawthorn (73) – Round 4, 2022

The Saints got on top early and never took the foot off the pedal to stroll to a 69-point win earlier this year.

Hawthorn got off to a fast start, with Dylan Moore kicking back-to-back goals in the opening two minutes.

The Hawks again kicked the first goal of the second term, with young ruck Ned Reeves taking two strong contested marks, with the latter leading to a set-shot goal.

But the Saints made the most of their opportunities, kicking six goals in the second quarter which led them to take control of the rest of the game.

Hawthorn (121) defeated North Melbourne (75)

A blistering start propelled Hawthorn to a convincing victory over North Melbourne at Blundstone Arena last Saturday.

Hawthorn’s dominant eight goal first quarter proved to be the difference between the two sides in the Hobart clash, ultimately winning by 46 points.

Playing his first match following two weeks off after the sudden death of his father Ray, three-time premiership winner Jack Gunston was outstanding with five goals.

Newcombe was also impressive, finishing the game with two goals, 30 disposals and nine clearances.
