Hawthorn has smashed through an early membership milestone ahead of its Opening Round clash this Friday night, surpassing 70,000 members.
The exciting achievement highlights the loyalty and commitment of the brown and gold faithful as the club prepares to embark upon a highly anticipated 2025 AFL and AFLW campaigns.
Notably, compared to the same time last year, the club's membership tally is up 8000 members, while new membership has doubled.
The club is now on pace to set another overall membership record this year, after reaching its current all-time high of 83,823 members in 2024.
Hawthorn Chief Executive Officer Ash Klein said the milestone was an overwhelming show of support by the brown and gold family.
"We are beyond grateful to every single one of our proud and passionate 70,000 members for their dedication to Hawthorn," Klein said.
"We make no secret at the fact that members are the lifeblood of our football club, the unwavering support from the brown and gold faithful massively contributes to our success.
"After returning to finals last year in the AFL and an inaugural AFLW Finals campaign, 2025 promises to be a momentous year for the club as we celebrate 100 years in the VFL/AFL, along with our move to the Kennedy Community Centre - and none of this would be possible without the loyalty of our members.
"For those thinking of joining the Hawthorn family, it’s not too late, there's plenty of options available, and this year is definitely one you won't want to miss."
While the top-tier memberships with AFL Grand Final guarantee have sold out, there are still plenty of great value options on offer to get on board for the 2025 season. Dunstall Club memberships with second priority for Grand Final tickets one of the packages still available, but they’re selling fast so don’t miss out.
