The door has been left open for Mitch Lewis to return among the selection mix ahead of the Hawks clash against Richmond at the MCG on Sunday. 

Lewis missed last Saturday's win against Gold Coast after a suffering a knee injury during Hawthorn's Round 20 match against St Kilda. 

But now having recommenced running, the 23-year-old will get a chance to prove his fitness this week. 

Meanwhile, two Hawks have unfortunately been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to their respective injuries.
