Hawthorn is excited to reveal WISE Employment has come on board as the official AFLW coaches partner ahead of the club’s inaugural season.
The entire AFLW coaching panel will proudly don the WISE Employment logo on their collars, as well as on the front of their polos and jumpers.
The Australian-owned, not-for-profit employment services provider will also assist the Hawks playing group with professional development and employment opportunities.
In Round 8, the organisation will align with Hawthorn ahead of its inaugural AFLW Pride Match, to be played against the GWS Giants at Henson Park on 16 October.
Hawthorn CEO Justin Reeves was thrilled with the new partnership.
“Hawthorn is pleased to partner with WISE Employment, who have helped hundreds of thousands of job seekers find work in diverse and inclusive environments,” Reeves said.
“Both Hawthorn and WISE Employment are committed to empowering women to reach their full potential on and off the field, which is why this partnership is a great fit for the Hawks debut AFLW season.”
WISE Employment Deputy CEO Ary Laufer was also delighted with the partnership.
“WISE is very excited to be on board as the official coaches partner of Hawthorn’s AFLW team,” Laufer said.
“This partnership brings the opportunity to not only support the players, but to support women in leadership.
“We look forward to working together to encourage the club’s broader community to get behind our shared mission to promote diversity and inclusion, as well as empower women in every aspect of their lives.”
As part of this exciting new partnership, WISE Employment is giving away seven AFLW memberships for the 2022 season. Click here for your chance to win!
