Hawthorn officially launched its inaugural AFLW season in front of friends, family, partners and special guests on Tuesday night.

Each player was presented with their jumper by a young member of the Hawthorn family while guests heard from various players and coach Bec Goddard about their excitement for the season ahead.

The night capped off a wonderful week as Hawthorn had the opportunity to play a pre-season game on the MCG before receiving the news that its Round 1 clash against Essendon had been moved to Marvel Stadium.
