Hawthorn Football Club is excited to announce that Nissan has extended its partnership with the club, signing on as the club’s official AFLW automotive partner.
After supporting the club’s AFL, VFL and VFLW teams, Nissan will now extend that support to the Hawks AFLW team in their inaugural season.
Nissan’s logo will proudly feature on the back of Hawthorn’s AFLW guernseys throughout the year.
Hawthorn Chief Executive Officer Justin Reeves said the extension was fantastic news for the club on the eve of its first AFLW home game on Sunday.
“Hawthorn is thrilled to be adding to its partnership with Nissan during such a historic chapter for the club,” Reeves said.
“Nissan’s company ethos aligns closely with what our club stands for, with both organisations striving for the highest quality success in everything we do.
“The Hawks are incredibly proud to partner with Nissan, and we are excited with what the future holds.”
Nissan Australia Managing Director Adam Paterson was delighted to strengthen the organisation’s commitment to the Hawks.
“Nissan Australia, along with our Dealers, are proud to welcome Hawthorn Football Club’s AFLW team to the family,” Paterson said.
“Given our support of elite Australian sport, and as a major partner of the club, providing the opportunity to engage with passionate fans of the sport year-round was a logical next step for us.
“Nissan Australia is delighted to extend our partnership to support the sustained growth of the Hawthorn AFLW team in a competition that is quickly gaining a strong following. We are proud to be part of a sport that is so well-loved by many Australians.”
Hawthorn’s AFLW team will host St Kilda at Box Hill City Oval on Sunday at 4.10pm AEST.
