Kyle Hartigan will depart Hawthorn after the club informed the defender that he will not be offered a contract for the 2023 season.
The 30-year-old joined the Hawks during the 2020 trade period and went on to play 22 games in the brown and gold.
Prior to his time at Hawthorn, Hartigan amassed 113 games over eight seasons with Adelaide after being selected as a mature-age player in the 2012 rookie draft.
In farewelling Hartigan, Hawthorn National Recruiting and List Manager Mark McKenzie thanked him for his contribution to the brown and gold.
“Kyle has been a great leader and competitor during his time at the club, and has had a strong influence on our group both on and off the field,” McKenzie said.
“We thank Kyle for his service, and we wish him and his family all the best in his future endeavours.”
