Harry Morrison has committed his future to Hawthorn until at least the end of the 2024 season, after signing a new two-year deal with the club.
The freshly inked contract comes on the back of a career-best season for the 23-year-old, averaging just shy of 20 disposals, as well as three inside 50s per game.
Morrison has emerged as among Hawthorn’s most consistent midfielders through 78 games in the brown and gold, since joining the club with Pick 74 in the 2016 national draft.
Hawthorn National List and Recruiting Manager Mark McKenzie said the deal penned by Morrison demonstrates a strong commitment to the direction of the club.
“Harry’s decision to commit to Hawthorn highlights the positive culture that has been built across the club,” McKenzie said.
“We are really pleased to see the progress Harry has made in his six years at the club.
“This season he played a prominent role on the wing, and at only 23 years of age, we feel his best footy is still in front of him.
“Harry has expressed a desire for future success, and this deal is a testament to the trajectory of our club and the foundations being laid with among our exciting young group.”
