Hawthorn Captain Tilly Lucas-Rodd finished the season the way she started with a dominant performance in her team’s narrow five-point loss against Fremantle.
The star midfielder tallied a season-high 26 possessions (15 of those contested) to go with seven tackles, six clearances and one goal.
Leading the way in marks was Kaitlyn Ashmore with six. She complemented this with a season-high of her own, racking up 18 disposals to go with four tackles.
Aileen Gilroy gained the most metres of any Hawk in what has become a regular trend for the 29-year-old. She finished with 360 metres gained, 14 disposals, five inside 50s and seven tackles.
Young gun Charlotte Baskaran laid the most tackles of any Hawk at Fremantle Oval with eight. She also gathered 14 possessions and kicked a goal, capping off a solid debut season.
Speaking of young stars, Lucy Wales battled diligently in the ruck with 20 hit-outs and nine disposals.
