Hawthorn young gun Will Day has added a third MVP honour to his name for 2023 after earning accolades from the fans following his performance against Geelong on Easter Monday.
Day was a stand-out on a difficult day for the Hawks, finishing with a team-high eight tackles, six clearances and four inside 50s, along with 22 disposals, six score involvements, four marks and 385 metres gained.
The exciting midfielder also won six intercept possessions, two of which resulted in Hawthorn goals.
By the first quarter break, he had collected five contested possessions and four clearances, which were both his highest in an individual quarter for his career.
The 21-year-old recently inked a long-term deal with the club, ensuring he remains a Hawk until at least the end of 2027.
