Conor Nash has collected his first MVP from the fans for the season following his hard-hitting performance in Hawthorn’s narrow lost to the Adelaide Crows on Sunday.
Nash gave the brown and gold plenty of grunt around the ball in the physical contest at UTAS Stadium, racking up 28 disposals (15 contested), laying seven tackles and winning seven clearances.
After a career-best 31-possession game only a week ago, the 24-year-old continued to make the most of his growing midfield role, also providing seven inside 50s and playing a hand in seven score involvements.
Arguably Nash’s highlight afternoon came in the third quarter, when the 198cm bull laid one of the better bone-crunching tackles in recent memory, slamming Adelaide Crow Jake Soligo straight into the Launceston turf, earning himself a shot on goal.

Sam Mitchell made mention of the Irish native in his post-match press conference, heaping praise on the talented expatriate in just his fifth season at the top level.
"Nashy is growing into himself, he's still relatively new to the game," Mitchell said.
"He's really good at playing his role, he’s a great teammate and a great player to coach because he'll do whatever is required.
"His energy and toughness around the ball has been really strong, I love seeing him get a bit of reward for the effort he is putting in."
