Hawthorn ruck Tamara Luke has returned to full training 10 months after rupturing her ACL against St Kilda in Round 2 last year.
Luke's inaugural season in Hawks colours was cruelly cut short when she went down with the knee injury during the first bounce at Box Hill City Oval.
Since then, the 35-year-old hasn't missed a beat with her rehab and has now been rewarded with a return to full training, 40 days out from Hawthorn's season opener against Essendon at Kinetic Stadium.
Hawthorn AFLW High Performance Manager Olivia Knowles was thrilled to see Luke back amongst the main group at training.
"This is fantastic news for Tam who has been so diligent in her rehab over the past 10 months," Knowles said.
"She's ticked off all the important milestones, pushed through all the difficult moments and is now ready to attack full training.
"We can't wait to see Tam back out there on the training track continuing her build-up to the 2023 AFLW season."
