Hawthorn has made just the one change to last week's winning side ahead of its clash against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday.

Wingman Karl Amon is the sole addition to the line-up that defeated ladder-leaders Collingwood last weekend.

Seamus Mitchell (omitted) and Cam Mackenzie (sub) are the confirmed outs.

Mitchell alongside Bailey Macdonald, Ned Long and Jai Serong are listed among the emergencies, with the substitute to be confirmed one hour prior to the bounce.

The Hawks will be celebrating double the milestones on Sunday with Jai Newcombe and James Worpel set to celebrate their 50th and 100th games respectively.

General Manager of Football Rob McCartney said Amon was an important inclusion for a young Hawthorn outfit.

"After a few weeks off, we're thrilled to have Karl back in our 22, his return certainly strengthens our side from a personnel point of view, but also from a leadership standpoint," McCartney said.

"We all know the immense talent Karl brings with his ball use and decision making, but it's also his ability to provide direction to our younger players that we value enormously.

"With three games remaining, no doubt Karl will be looking to put together some strong performances to close out the season, starting this Sunday against a highly-fancied Western Bulldogs outfit."

Sunday's game will see the Hawks honour Tasmania's first responders, with the club hosting its second annual Tasmania Emergency Services Match.

Following the successful inaugural event in 2022, Hawthorn will once again provide an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the state’s emergency services workers and volunteers who work tirelessly to protect the community.

Fans are also encouraged to head to UTAS Stadium for open training on Saturday 12 August from 4pm.
