Jai Newcombe has capped of his 50th milestone game in an impressive fashion after claiming Hawthorn's Round 22 MVP.

Newcombe produced a career-best performance amassing a huge 40 disposals at 85 per cent disposal efficiency alongside 12 marks, four tackles and 10 score involvements... and a goal!

The mid-season draftee clocked up game number 50 on Sunday, just two years after he was unearthed by the club’s VFL program.

Finishing second in the club’s best and fairest last season, the 22-year-old has elevated his game to new heights this year, averaging 25.2 disposals, 5.7 clearances and 4.4 tackles per game in 2023.
