Bio: Fleming made an instant impact in her debut season at Hawthorn, winning the club’s Rising Star award whilst coming third in the league’s equivalent award. The 18-year-old also made the AFLPA 22under22 team, thanks to strong averages of 14.4 disposals, 4.3 tackles and 3.2 clearances. As a junior, she won a premiership with the Oakleigh Chargers, made the NAB League Girls Team of the Year and AFLW under 18 All Australian team whilst representing Vic Metro. Fleming has also represented Vic Metro in cricket, following in the footsteps of her father and former Australian paceman Damien. She also dabbled in netball, taking after her mother and former elite netballer Wendy O’Donnell.
