Louise Stephenson and Sarah Perkins have been added to Hawthorn’s injury list ahead of the team’s Round 4 clash with Melbourne on Friday night at Kinetic Stadium.

Stephenson suffered a concussion in Saturday’s 13-point loss to Fremantle and has entered concussion protocols, according to AFLW High Performance Manager Olivia Knowles.

“Unfortunately she got a head knock in the third quarter and was removed from play,” Knowles said.

“She’s been put into the concussion protocol and will be a week away from being available.”

Hawthorn’s forward stocks have taken a hit as well with Sarah Perkins going down with injury during the week.

“She sustained a calf injury and we’re looking at a four to five-week return for her,” Knowles said.

“We’ll support her in that process.”

In other news, small forward Zoe Barbakos faces a test to return from concussion while Tegan Cunningham is progressing as planned from a hamstring injury.
