Hawthorn midfielder Will Day has been named the Superhero of the Week, as voted on by the brown and gold faithful.
The 23-year-old started the season in brilliant fashion, leading the Hawks to a 20-point win over Sydney at the SCG in Opening Round.
Day's game comprised of both midfield and forward dominance, leading the team in goalkicking (three majors), clearances (nine) and inside 50s (six).

The star Hawk also recorded 26 disposals, 454 metres gained, seven score involvements, six tackles and four marks.
Day and the Hawks will now set their sights to a big Round 1 clash with Essendon on Friday night at the MCG.
