Star midfield duo Emily Bates and Tilly Lucas-Rodd both polled coaches votes in Hawthorn's 59-point loss to Melbourne on Friday night. 

Lucas-Rodd led the way with three votes following their team-high 28 disposals, five clearances and four tackles.

This is the third consecutive week that the Hawthorn skipper has polled coaches votes, highlighting their consistency across the season so far.

Partner-in-crime Bates polled two votes on Friday night, recording game-highs in tackles (nine) and clearances (seven) to go with her 21 disposals.

The 27-year-old has now polled in all four of her Hawks appearances so far, ranking in the league's top 20 for coaches votes.
