With the 2024 season quickly approaching, we thought it would be the perfect time to take a more in-depth look at next year's fixture.

Hawthorn's exciting 2024 calendar will see the brown and gold host several blockbuster home games at the MCG, including match-ups against some of the club’s biggest rivals, as well as four great games in Tasmania, giving Hawks fans plenty to look forward to next year!

BLOCKBUSTER MCG GAMES:

R2 v Melbourne

In what marks their first MCG home game for the season, the Hawks will face an early challenge against the 2021 premiers when they take on Melbourne in Round 2. The game forms part of three MCG games in a row for the Hawks (including two home games), giving fans and members loads of footy action at our home deck to kick off 2024.

R3 v Geelong (Easter Monday)

Easter Monday against Geelong. It's one of the games Hawks fans' immediately pencil into their calendars every year - even more so in 2024 with the club regaining hosting rights for the clash! With the historic rivalry between these two sides running deep, and after several thrilling encounters in recent years, this is a game you don't want to miss!

R19 v Collingwood

Fans will remember the highly entertaining match-up between these two sides in Round 21 this year, when the Hawks caused one of the biggest upsets of the year in front of more than 66,000 at the MCG. Beyond this year's encounter, these two sides have produced several entertaining matches in recent years, so we have a feeling this one might be another thrilling contest.

R23 v Richmond

The Hawks will meet the Tigers for the second time in 2024 come Round 23. The game marks the final time Hawks fans will be able to see their beloved brown and gold run out onto the 'G for the home and away season!

MEMBER REPLACEMENT GAMES:

Hawthorn members will have access to four additional blockbusters during the 2024 season.

Since the release of the 2024 fixture, three huge MCG away games have been confirmed as Member replacement games in addition to another game at Marvel Stadium.

R1 v Essendon (MCG)

After having hosted last year's opening game, Essendon will retake the rights for this one, however Hawks members* will surely come out in force given this game has now been classified as a member replacement game. Make sure to get down to the 'G for Round 1 and watch your Hawks in action for the first time in 2024!

R8 v Western Bulldogs (Marvel)

To ensure plenty of footy content early in the season, Hawks’ fans will again be able to use their membership* to enjoy a Sunday afternoon out at Marvel Stadium when the Hawks take on the Bulldogs.

R14 v Richmond (MCG)

After a heartbreaking one-point loss last year, the Hawks will be eager to seek revenge against the Tigers come Round 14. While Richmond claim hosting rights for this match-up, Hawks fans will again be able to attend this MCG clash using their membership* against the yellow and black.

R22 v Carlton (MCG)

Brown and gold members will be able to come along and watch their side's late match-up against Carlton, which has also been declared as a member replacement game.

TASSIE GAMES:

The Hawks will continue to call Launceston its home away from home in 2024, with the club set to play four home games at UTAS Stadium next season.

R9 v St Kilda

Hawthorn will return to for their first game at their Tassie home when they take on St Kilda at UTAS Stadium. 2018 was the last time Tassie fans saw these two sides in action at the stadium.

R13 v GWS

Just four rounds later, Tassie fans will be able to enjoy some more Hawks footy when the brown and gold take on GWS. While UTAS is the Hawks’ home away from home, it will mark the Giant's first game at the stadium since 2017 against Hawthorn when the thrilling match ended in a draw.

R18 v Fremantle

With their games usually spread out across Melbourne and Perth, the last time these two sides met at the Launceston ground was in 2021. The Round 18 game will mark the third time the sides have faced off at the venue, with the current record standing a win apiece.

R24 v North Melbourne

The Hawks will close off their Tassie travels for 2024 with a match-up against the Kangaroos. Having won the last four encounters against the Kangaroos, the Hawks will be looking to maintain their winning streak as they finish the season. The game will mark the final chance for Tasmanian fans to head down to UTAS Stadium and cheer on the boys for the 2024.
