Hawthorn Captain Tilly Lucas-Rodd continued to impress with their leadership and consistency in 2023.
Coming off a stellar debut season in brown and gold in 2022, Lucas-Rodd backed that up by being elected skipper and finishing on the club's best and fairest podium for a second straight year.
The star midfielder continued to dominate in the tackling department but took their game to new levels in the disposal category, registering double digits in all but one round in 2023.

Lucas-Rodd was a major reason why the Hawks were able to secure their first win of the season in this game.
The 27-year-old recorded 21 disposals, laid seven tackles, took four marks and kicked a goal in a match-winning performance.
At the end of the game, both coaches rewarded Lucas-Rodd with five votes each, confirming that the midfielder was best on ground.
Honourable mentions should go to TLR's performance against Sydney in Round 7, which again proved to be match-winning, as well as their game against Melbourne in Round 4.
In Round 7, Lucas-Rodd received the maximum amount of votes from the umpires after amassing 18 disposals, five marks and five tackles.
Against the Demons, the 27-year-old never gave in all game, recording a career-high 28 disposals despite the Hawks going down by 59 points at Frankston.
