Hawthorn Development Coach and Box Hill Senior Coach Zane Littlejohn has been appointed to lead the VFL in a representative match against the SANFL.
Littlejohn will take the reins as the cream of the crop from the Victorian Football League does battle with their counterparts from the South Australian Football League in rivalry clash taking place during Gather Round.
The best VFL-listed players from the 21-team competition will be selected to represent the ‘Big V’ in the league’s first representative match in seven years.
The match will commence at 12:40pm local time (1:10pm AEDT) at the home of famous SANFL club Glenelg.
A bye has been scheduled in the Smithy's VFL fixture that weekend, with no matches to be played across the competition.
