David Mackay (Development Coach)

After splitting his duties between Hawthorn's AFL and AFLW programs in 2023, David Mackay was elevated to a full-time development role as part of the AFL program ahead of season 2024.

The retired Adelaide star initially joined the Hawthorn-Box Hill alignment ahead of the 2022 season, taking on a coaching role in the VFL program while also acting as AFLW midfield coach.

During his playing career, Mackay notched up 248 games for the Crows across 15 years, retiring at the end of the 2021 season with the ninth-most games in Adelaide’s history.
