Hawthorn Captain James Sicily will be free to play this weekend after the AFL Tribunal downgraded his charge on Tuesday night.
The club was successful with its challenge of Sicily's one-match ban which was offered by the MRO following a kicking incident involving Essendon's Andrew McGrath during the Hawks Round 1 clash.
The ban was downgraded to a $2500 fine, meaning Sicily will return for the Hawks' Round 2 match against Melbourne at the MCG this Saturday.
