Hawthorn is thrilled to announce an exciting membership milestone, with 70,000 members signing on at the start of the season for the first time.
More than 5,000 new members have jumped on board this year as the club commenced its 2024 campaign last week.
The impressive membership figure comes as the Hawks prepare for their first MCG home game for the season against Melbourne this Saturday.

Hawthorn CEO Ash Klein labelled the support from the club’s members so early on in the season as “remarkable”.
“As we head into our first home game of our 2024 campaign, we take this opportunity to thank our very loyal and passionate members for their continued support,” Klein said.
"We're thrilled to see 70,000 members get behind the club in the early stages of the season as we continue to move forward ahead into an exciting era.
“This milestone tells us that our members are really eager about watching Hawks footy in 2024, which we've already seen following our first game last weekend where so much brown and gold filled the stands, with our fans cheering louder than ever.
“With several big MCG home games ahead, including our iconic Easter Monday clash, there is no better time for the brown and gold fans to jump on board, sign up and be a part of the excitement to come.”
The Hawks are looking to build on this early benchmark with a membership target of 85,000 members for the 2024 season after achieving 80,698 members for 2023.
Hawthorn has several membership offerings still available for this year, ranging from affordable to more premium options.
Popular memberships among the brown and gold faithful for 2024 include the new Ponsford Membership, and the Dunstall Club.
