Hawthorn young gun Josh Weddle has been voted in as the Round 2 MVP following his solid performance against Melbourne at the MCG on Saturday afternoon.
The 19-year-old was a standout performer on a disappointing day for the Hawks, recording 21 disposals, taking 10 marks and kicking his first goal of the season.
Weddle's presence was felt all over the ground thanks to his signature running power and ability to play in different positions.
The classy defender is already averaging 20.5 disposals and five intercept possessions from his two games this season.
Weddle and the rest of his teammates will now look ahead to Easter Monday where they will face Geelong at the MCG.
The game also marks the third Dare to Hope Match, which will help raise much-needed awareness and funds for the Dare to Hope: Paul Dear Pancreatic Cancer Fund. Find out more info here.
