One of the players he will lead is Hawks defender Ethan Phillips, who will make his brown and gold debut at Adelaide Oval.

Last time we met
Yartapuulti (151) defeated Hawthorn (96) in Round 12, 2023
A fierce Yartapuulti outfit came out to play at Adelaide Oval, kicking nine goals in the first quarter alone and bringing up the ton before half-time.
The Hawks took confidence out of their second-half fightback though, outscoring the Power by 11 goals to seven.
The game also included a special moment for Hawthorn stalwart Luke Breust, who kicked his 500th career major.
Breust went on to kick five goals for the day while James Worpel worked hard in the midfield with 35 disposals.
Our last game
Hawthorn (58) defeated Euro-Yroke (53) at UTAS Stadium
In a scrappy affair in Tasmania, the Hawks led from start to finish to secure their third win of the season and the Blue Ribbon Cup, which is played for in memory of two Victorian police officers, Sergeant Gary Silk and Senior Constable Rodney Miller, who were killed in the line of duty at Moorabbin in 1998.
With narrow leads at each change, Hawthorn had to work hard and keep the Saints at bay but were supported by a strong crowd at UTAS Stadium.
Reliable defender Karl Amon won the Silk-Miller Medal as Hawthorn's best-on-ground for his 31 disposals, 11 rebound 50s and seven marks.
Dylan Moore also put in a gritty performance as the club's acting skipper, kicking two goals to go with 14 disposals and five tackles.

On Sunday, the Hawks will don their 2024 Indigenous Guernsey for the first time.
The guernsey has been inspired by the story of proud Ballardong Noongar man, 2008 Premiership player and our first Indigenous life member, Chance Bateman.
Bateman engaged Whadjuk, Ballardong and Eastern Arrernte artist Jade Dolman to help bring his story to life, with elements of the guernsey recognising Bateman's 13-year career at the club and those around him who made it happen.
Much-loved Hawk Jarman Impey will follow in Bateman's footsteps and captain the side during Sir Doug Nicholls Round.
Bateman became the first Indigenous Hawk to captain the club during the AFL's Indigenous Round in 2007.
From an experienced player to a debutant, it will also be a special day for Hawks defender Ethan Phillips.
Phillips will make his first appearance in the brown and gold following strong averages of 17.5 disposals and 11.5 marks per game for Box Hill so far this season.
Our 2024 Indigenous Guernsey will represent the journey of our very own Chance 'Changa' Bateman, proud Ballardong Noongar man, 2008 Premiership player and our first Indigenous life member.
