Four emerging Hawks have been named in Hawthorn's extended squad ahead of its Round 16 clash with West Coast at Optus Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Following solid blocks of form playing for Box Hill in the VFL, Josh Ward, Finn Maginness, Harry Morrison and Jai Serong are all in line to make the trip out west to face the Eagles.

Veteran forward Luke Breust is the sole out at this stage, with the 33-year-old to be managed this weekend.

The Hawks will be aiming to secure their fifth straight win following their bye last week in Round 15.

Hawthorn's final team will be released on Friday on 5pm via hawthornfc.com.au.

Keep up to date with the Hawks on social media via Facebook, X and Instagram.
