Hawks forward Mabior Chol has leapt high above the rest to claim a second Mark of the Year nomination for his efforts in Round 16 against West Coast.

It was in the early stages of the second term when Chol took the mark that put him in contention.

The Hawks were in front by just ten points when Chol came steaming out from the goal square on the lead for a Connor Macdonald kick, when he flew over a West Coast defender to take a clean mark.

The grab was one of five that Chol managed for the day, paired with two majors and 12 disposals.
