Hawthorn ruckman Lloyd Meek has been named the Round 18 MVP after his dominant performance in the Hawks 13-point win over Fremantle on Saturday afternoon.
Meek brought his A-game to UTAS Stadium against his former side, racking up a massive 51 hitouts, which was a career-high and game-high.
The 26-year-old also managed 15 disposals, 11 contested possessions and six score involvements.
He rounded out his performance with an equal team-high five intercept possessions and a game-high three contested marks.
This marks Meek’s first MVP nod of the season, where in his 13 games he's averaged 37 hitouts, nine contested possessions and five score involvements.
This Saturday Hawthorn hosts Collingwood in a twilight match at the MCG, in a battle of 13th v 12th on the league ladder.
