‘The 100 games or more’ panel, on display in the Museum’s foyer, rivals the ‘Team Photo Wall’ for animated in-depth discussion amongst our many visitors.
They can be heard debating, ‘Who was the best player? Who was the best team man? Who was the best kick or mark?’
It is fascinating to sit back and listen to the engaging conversations and learn more of the visitors’ assessments of the players who have registered at least 100 games and their achievements.
These discussions often lead to the 100 gamers’ post-football careers. What their occupations are now, where they live, whether they have family and invariably, as their children grow older, whether their sons or daughters will make the grade at Hawthorn.
