Massimo D’Ambrosio has earned his first MVP nomination for a superb effort in the Hawks 124-point win over North Melbourne at UTAS Stadium in Round 24.

The 21-year-old ran rampant off the wing, finishing with a equal-career-high two goals and equal-career-high 31 disposals.

D’Ambrosio backed that up with an equal game-high eight intercept possessions, a team-high 14 contested possessions and 10 score involvements.

D’Ambrosio is having an outstanding first year in brown and gold, having played all but one game this year he’s averaged 20.8 disposals and 4.9 marks a game and kicked a total seven goals, his most of any season to date.
