The Box Hill Hawks will appear in the 2024 Smithy’s VFL Finals Series, after finishing sixth on the league ladder.
The Hawks are set to take on eighth placed Williamstown this Saturday afternoon in a home Elimination Final, after the Seagulls progressed through the Wildcard Round.
This will mark the second meeting between the two clubs in season 2024, with Box Hill having edged out the Seagulls in Round 18 by 22 points.
The winner of the Hawks and Seagulls will progress to the Semi Final and face the loser of the Second Qualifying Final between Footscray Bulldogs and Brisbane Lions.
This marks the second consecutive finals series for the Box Hill Hawks under Senior Coach Zane Littlejohn, having lost a Preliminary Final to eventual 2023 Premiers, Gold Coast last season.
Box Hill’s team for the Elimination Final will be released on Friday 30 August at.12.20pm.
