Five Hawthorn players have been nominated for a series of AFL Players' Association Awards.
Gun trio Will Day, Dylan Moore and James Sicily have been nominated for the Most Valuable Player, with Sicily also receiving a nomination for Best Captain.
Meanwhile, Nick Watson has been nominated for Best First Year Player and Blake Hardwick has been nominated for Most Courageous Player.
It is a remarkable feat for Day, having missed the first six rounds of the season with a foot injury.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been solid since his return, with averages of 19.3 disposals, 4.6 tackles, 4.4 score involvements and 3.6 inside 50s per game.
Moore's MVP nomination comes off the back of his maiden All Australian squad selection, with the Hawks co-vice captain averaging 19.7 disposals, 7.3 score involvements, 5.2 marks and 4.2 inside 50s after playing every game this season.
Like Moore, Sicily has also been selected in the All Australian squad while also receiving an AFLPA MVP nomination, leading from the front with averages of 21.6 disposals, 7.5 marks and 5.4 rebound 50s from his 20 games in 2024.
In line for Best First Year Player, Watson has had a promising debut season in brown and gold, earning an AFL Rising Star nomination in Round 19 to go with his 18 goals from 16 games this year.
Finally, it is no surprise to see Hardwick nominated for Most Courageous Player.
Often being tasked to play on some of the most dangerous forwards in the game, Hardwick always stands up to the task.
The 27-year-old has also showcased his versatility in 2024 with 13 goals for the season.
All four award categories are voted on by the players, with the awards taking place on the evening on Thursday 29 August.
