Hello Hawks faithful,

As we prepare to embark upon our highly anticipated AFL Finals campaign this Friday night, today I write to you as we launch one of the most critical off-field ventures in our club’s proud history.

Next year, we will make the move to our new home in Dingley, the Kennedy Community Centre. I was on site earlier this week and saw with my own eyes how this world-class project will be an absolute game-changer for our football club.

We will have equal elite facilities for our AFL and AFLW programs, whilst also serving as a home for the entire Hawthorn family – that includes our past players and officials, our members, fans and the wider community.

The importance of creating a high-performance environment as we pursue future premierships from our new home cannot be understated. Having access to state-of-the-art technology, as well as cutting-edge equipment and recovery resources is paramount.  They are the pivotal pieces that our players need to achieve the ultimate success.

And I write to you today asking for your help so we can lift more cups.

We need the Hawks family to fly together, as we begin the journey of raising $5 million before we make the move to the Kennedy Community Centre next year. As our theme song proudly puts it, one for all, and all for one – this is going to take all of us. Big or small, anything you can give will help us on our journey towards winning more flag.

These additional funds are about ensuring the facility has absolutely everything our players need to be at the forefront of the entire league.

As our players continue to show, our next premiership could be just around the corner. And our $5 million target is essential in best positioning them to reach that, and more.

This is arguably one of the most exciting times in Hawthorn’s history, and we are confident the brown and gold faithful will be with us every step of the way as we take flight on this bold mission.

Go the Mighty Fighting Hawks.
