The Hawks will look to get back on the winners’ list as they head to RSEA Park to take on the Saints in Spud’s Game, in honour of mental health.

St Kilda remain undefeated in season 2024, with the Hawks set for a big challenge away from home.

Our last game

Hawthorn (32) defeated by Adelaide (58) in Week 3, 2024.

Hawthorn’s unbeaten run to start 2024 came to an end at the hands of the Crows at Unley Oval.

The Hawks led by a point at quarter-time but the home team surged in the second term with four goals to no score.

The Hawks trailed by 31 points at the final change after managing just two goals in the first three quarters, but came home strong with goals to Greta Bodey and Mattea Breed in the last.

Hawks midfielder Emily Bates (28 disposals and five tackles) was among the best for her side.

Last time we met

Hawthorn (36) defeated by St Kilda (45) in Round 6, 2023.

St Kilda dominated the first three quarters and threatened a blowout win but Hawthorn managed two quick goals to start the last term to set up an exciting finish.

Hawthorn had the better of the Saints in contested possession and clearance but were wasteful in front of goal early.

Tilly Lucas-Rodd led from the front for Hawthorn, Jasmine Fleming looked a class above at times with her speed and Emily Bates fought hard in a losing side, picking up 32 disposals including 24 contested, 11 tackles and 11 clearances.
