Aileen Gilroy has earned her second MVP nomination for the 2024 season after a stellar performance in Week 8 against the Giants at Kinetic Stadium.

Gilroy booted a game-high three goals for the match, all coming from booming kicks in the first, third and fourth quarters of the game.

Gilroy racked up an equal game-high inside 50s and score involvements, with six of each.

She also finished with 17 disposals and six tackles.  

Gilroy and the Hawks now look to their Week 9 game in Cairns, where they host the Demons in the opening match of the 2024 Indigenous Round.
