There has been lots happening at Hawthorn's future home in Dingley, the Kennedy Community Centre.

This past month we have seen the light towers installed around the AFLW Oval. This, of course, was made possible in conjunction with our partners VAILO and is a significant milestone in the build of the facility.

As mentioned last month, structural steel erection is continuing to take place throughout the Harris ETAF, with the players’ zone an area of focus this month. Notably, several sections of the steel erection are now complete, including the administration area, indoor theatre and indoor training field. Meanwhile, roofing works have also commenced.

Out on the main training oval, sand has been laid in readiness for first turf placement to commence from early November. This is an important step as we look to have the turf in great condition for our players next year. The same sequence has started at the AFLW Oval, with those turf works anticipated to be completed by end of the calendar year.
