Hawthorn v Richmond

MCG, 3.20pm

The entire Hawthorn family are invited to the MCG for what's set to be a historic occasion as the club hosts its Centenary Match in Round 8 to commemorate 100 years in the VFL/AFL. Fittingly, the Hawks' opponents, Richmond, were the first opposition the club faced in its inaugural VFL match back in 1925. More info on this special fixture will be released in due course.

Round 3 
Hawthorn v GWS GIANTS
Saturday 29 March
UTAS Stadium, 7.35pm

Night footy is set to make its long awaited return to Tasmania when the Hawks host the GIANTS under lights at UTAS Stadium in Round 3. It will be the first evening match at the Launceston venue since 2018. After the two teams split the two encounters in 2024, this match is set up to be another enthralling contest on the prime time stage.

Round 14
Hawthorn v Adelaide Crows
Friday 13 June
UTAS Stadium, 7.40pm

With the lights being switched back on in Tasmania for the first time since 2018 in Round 3, the state will also make history when it stages its first ever Friday night match in Round 14 as the Hawks take on the Crows. Just three points separated the two teams when they last played at the same venue in 2023.

Hawthorn v Brisbane Lions
Saturday 24 May
MCG, 4.15pm

A date with the reigning premier awaits the Hawks in a Saturday twilight blockbuster at the MCG in Round 11. Hawthorn will be eager to keep its stunning streak alive against the Brisbane Lions, having beaten the 2024 premiers in its last five encounters.

Round 7
Hawthorn v West Coast Eagles
Sunday 27 April
Marvel Stadium, 4.40pm

The Hawthorn faithful will be given the chance to pay its respects when the club hosts the Eagles during the Anzac Appeal Round. The Sunday twilight fixture under the roof at Marvel Stadium is also set to be the first time new recruit Tom Barrass comes face-to-face with his former teammates from the west.
