What's on

The Hawks will be celebrating two milestones on Saturday night, with utility Louise Stephenson set to suit up for her 50th AFLW match and defender Laura Elliott in line to play her 25th game.

Stephenson was both an inaugural AFLW player and an inaugural Hawk after crossing over from GWS ahead of the brown and gold's first season in the AFLW competition.

After originally playing in defence, Stephenson has stepped up multiple times this year to ply her trade up forward, kicking four goals from her seven games this season.

Following the news of extending her contract until 2027, Elliott has continued to show promise as one of the league's emerging defenders, nullifying the impact of her opponents and impressing with her aerial ability.

In terms of game day activities, you will find food trucks, giveaways (including Maccas ice coffee vouchers), music, team mascots and more outside Gate 6 and around the ground.

With warm weather expected on Saturday, those attending the match have the opportunity to purchase this New Era 9FORTY cap for just $15! Regular price is $40.

Head to our HawksNest marquee outside Gate 6 for this exclusive offer. Get there early! Stock is limited.

For the first 200 fans through the gates, get a $20 voucher to enjoy your first food and drink on the AFLW with a voucher to be used in IKON Park.

Plus, get around to Gate 6 for some player signings from 6.30pm pre-game!

Hawthorn (32) defeated by Brisbane (38) in Sunday's Qualifying Final

Hawthorn battled hard in its first Qualifying Final, eventually going down to the reigning premiers by six points.

After a solid start, the Hawks led the game by 11 points at half-time, courtesy of goals from Mackenzie Eardley, Aine McDonagh and Kaitlyn Ashmore.

The Lions flexed their muscles in the third quarter though, keeping the Hawks to one behind and scoring three majors of their own.

Louise Stephenson kicked a goal to lift her side in the fourth term but it wasn't enough, with the Hawks turning their attention to Saturday's Semi Final clash.

Last time we met

Hawthorn (40) defeated Port Adelaide (32) in Round 9, 2023

Hawthorn recorded an eight-point win over Port Adelaide at Kinetic Stadium in last year's Pride Round.

The Power got out to an early seven-point lead at quarter-time before the Hawks piled on three unanswered majors to lead by 13 points at half-time.

The seesawing contest continued with the away side then kicking three goals of their own before Hawthorn seized the moment to kick two final-term majors and seal the victory.

It was the Greta Bodey show at Frankston with the small forward/ winger kicking four goals for the game.

Ruck Lucy Wales also secured her second Rising Star nomination off the back of her 20 disposals, 14 hit-outs, six clearances and six tackles.
