Developing tall Jess Vukic will remain a Hawk until at least the end of 2027 after re-committing to the brown and gold in a two-year deal.

Vukic joined the Hawks via the AFLW expansion pre-signing period out of the Eastern Ranges in 2023.

The number 23 made her debut in Week 1 of 2024 against Carlton and played 11 games in her debut season, including the club’s two finals matches.

She averaged 8.7 hitouts, 4.1 contested possessions and 2.4 tackles across the 2024 season.

Vukic is known for her physical and aggressive presence on the field, fearlessness in her pursuit, and not being afraid to put her body on the line.

Hawthorn AFLW List Manager Keegan Brooksby said Vukic’s re-signing is another exciting addition to the list going forward.

“We’re thrilled that Jess has recommitted to Hawthorn and are excited to see her continue to progress in the coming years,” Brooksby said.

“She is a super competitor with an appetite for the contest and showed some great signs of development as an emerging tall across her debut season.”

Vukic joins a growing list of Hawks to have re-signed until the end of 2027 including Jasmine Fleming, Laura Elliott, Bridie Hipwell, Jenna Richardson and Mackenzie Eardley.
