It didn't take Chad Wingard long to find his rhythm in the brown and gold, with the recruit nabbing a Goal of the Year nomination in his first Hawthorn game.

The star recruit finished the day with three goals, but it was his third that got people talking; Wingard darted around two North Melbourne players in a busy forward pocket before sending a powerful snap through the goals to extend Hawthorn’s lead beyond reach.
