Hawthorn defender Jack Scrimshaw is set to miss the next four to six weeks after injuring his knee against Port Adelaide.
Scrimshaw left the field in the third quarter of the Hawks win and did not return.
Physical Performance Manager Luke Boyd said Scrimshaw suffered the injury after being tackled.
"Jack got caught up in a tackle in the game and he has sustained an injury to the lateral ligament in his knee," Boyd said.
"It could be anywhere between four to six weeks before we see Jack play some football again."
Isaac Smith will look to prove his fitness ahead of this week’s clash with Brisbane.
Smith has now missed the past three games with a foot injury but is hopeful of being available for selection in Round 11.
Mitch Lewis, who was a late withdrawal from the side that went to Launceston, is expected to return after a week on the sidelines following a concussion.
Meanwhile reigning Brownlow Medallist Tom Mitchell is recovering well after he had surgery to remove the metalwork from the leg he broke in January.
