Hawks vice-captain Rosie Dillon has been named this week’s MVP for her game against Geelong.
The inside-mid had 24 possessions, of which 19 were contested, and kicked one-goal-two in the Hawks seven-point loss to the Cats at Box Hill City Oval on Saturday.
This was yet another good performance for Dillon who has had an impressive start to the year.
The 23-year-old has been building in confidence week-by-week and now sits fifth in the competition for disposals averaging 17 per game.
VFLW coach Paddy Hill believes she is cementing her place as one of the best midfielders in the competition.
“Rosie had 24 disposals, including 19 contested possessions, eight tackles, nine clearances and kicked one-goal-two,” said Hill.
“With her form and confidence rising every week, she is turning into one of the league’s premier midfielders.”
