2020 looms as an exciting season for Hawthorn fans, with our first look at the draft fixture presenting several blockbuster clashes against club rivals, with less Sunday games.
After kicking off the year against Brisbane in Round 1, the Hawks’ home fixture is likely to consist predominantly of Friday and Saturday games.
CEO Justin Reeves says the club welcomes the proposed shift back to more family-friendly time slots.
“We’re really excited with how Hawthorn’s 2020 fixture is shaping up,” Reeves said.
“We look set to receive a series of home games in traditional time slots, including Friday nights and Saturday afternoons.
“After several Sunday clashes in 2019, the upcoming fixture should offer our members greater opportunity to attend the football, which is a great result for the club.”
The final 2020 fixture is set to be released on Thursday October 31st and will be available via hawthornfc.com.au.
