NO stranger to performing on the big stage, Hawthorn star Cyril Rioli faced one of the toughest interviews of his career on his first day of pre-season training.

Rioli, who signed a contract extension tying him to the club until the end of 2019, fronted the press on the boundary line at Waverley Park.

The tough line of questioning came from a group of the club's Junior Rioli members.
