Paul Puopolo's spectacular mark from the third quarter in Monday's Round 1 victory over Geelong has been nominated for Mark of the Year.

From the moment the ball left Will Langford's boot near the wing, the Hawks pocket rocket had eyes for nothing but the footy jumping on the back of Jed Bews and taking a pack mark.

Puopolo followed the great grab with a goal.
