‘Play Your Role’ is a footy cliché that has been rolled out by countless players in many a press conference. But at our club it is more than that.

It is a phrase ingrained in everyone who bleeds brown and gold: our players, coaches, fans, staff and volunteers. Everyone at Hawthorn is dedicated to playing their role and it is this commitment that enables sustained success.

During the 2015 finals campaign our players will rely heavily on everyone, including you, to Play Your Role.

It cannot be underestimated just how important this is and only when everyone plays their role can we achieve the ultimate team success.

In 2015 we have an opportunity to write a new chapter in Hawthorn’s history and achieve what only one other club has accomplished in the modern era. It has never been more important for our members, fans, players and staff to play their role.
