HAWTHORN Captain Luke Hodge has accepted a two-game sanction from the MRP.
The ban means Hodge will miss the Hawks' final two home-and-away matches, against Brisbane Lions on Saturday and Carlton in Round 23.
Hodge pleaded guilty to engaging in rough conduct against Port Adelaide's Chad Wingard during the third quarter of the Round 21 match between the Hawks and Power on Friday night.
The incident was assessed as careless conduct with medium impact to the head and classified as a two-game sanction.
Due to Hodge's record, his two-game penalty was increased to a three-game penalty. But with an early guilty plea, the penalty returned to two weeks.
