Over the weekend, players travelled far and wide throughout Tasmania for the 2015 AFL Australia Post Community Camp. There were a range of different activities for the Hawks to be involved in across the three day camp with plenty of fun being had by all.
It was certainly an action packed camp which consisted of the group visiting the following:
- 26 towns
- 24 organisations/charities
- 22 schools
- 8 local football clubs
The 11 groups traveled a combined total of approximately 2,963 kilometres ensuring a high level of interaction with Hawks fans and members of the public in each corner of the state.
Thanks to everyone who came out to see us and we look forward to being back in Tasmania for Round 3 of the 2015 season!
You couldn't wipe the smile off Josh Gibson's face during Community Camp.
Bradley Hill loved spending time with the Tasmanian community.
