HAWTHORN defender Josh Gibson has been offered a $1500 fine by the MRP for an incident in Friday night's game against Carlton.
Gibson was charged with striking Carlton's Blaine Boekhorst in the first quarter of the Round 17 match at Etihad Stadium.
The incident was classified by the MRP as intentional conduct with low impact to the body.
It was Gibson's second classified offence this season and classified as a $2500 sanction, but he can accept a $1500 fine with an early plea.
